Troop 62 headed to Arlington National Cemetery
on December 11, 2010 to participate in the laying of wreaths on the tombs of soldiers for Wreaths Across America. Six scouts and four adult leaders endured the frigid morning temperatures in the upper 20's as they paid their respects to the fallen soldiers. The Troop spent time visiting the tomb of fellow Scouter, Col. Donald P. Brown. Each of the Scouts were able to lay 2 wreaths. Following the wreath laying, the Scouts headed up the hill in the cemetery to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After lunch, the Troop visited the the Natural History Museum along the Mall in Washington, DC. Enjoy the pictures below of the trip!
